Wireshark is the world’s foremost and widely-used network protocol analyzer. It lets you see what’s happening on your network at a microscopic level and is the de facto (and often de jure) standard across many commercial and non-profit enterprises, government agencies, and educational institutions.

TI Packet Sniffer users: TI recommends installing Wireshark first, so it gets detected and configured automatically during the setup of SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2.

Installation

Follow the next steps to install Wireshark:

  1. Download the latest stable version for Wireshark 3.0.x.
